It is now day 2 of our adventure. We headed to a second campsite because it promised to have a hot out door shower, Collins Creek campground in the Sumter National Forest. It’s a seasonal camp ground that closes tomorrow Jan 4. We met a nice family of hunters who gave us a lot of fire wood as they headed out. The forecast was calling for a very cold night so we really appreciated it. It made a very nice hot fire. Perhaps a little too hot unfortunately. We boiled water for tea and Francis managed to spill the boiling water over his hand and gave himself a second degree burn. The pain made for a long night.
